Education & Advocacy

Across all staff members we are attending courses and classes investing in average 180 working hours per year. The topics are about Sustainability and Certifications, Circular Economy Models, Organic and Sustainable Fibres, Green Technology, the SDGs, Regenerative Agriculture, Traceability in Supply Chains, US legislation for Consumer Products, EU Policies and Legislation, CSRD, Ecodesign, REACH, Regenerative Leadership, Gender Equality, Waste & Resource Management.

Besides this we participate in workshops working with other businesses under EU initiatives as described here. We create internal workshops on regeneration and we will share our findings in the journal.

We are a participant in the UN Global Compact and work in the Portuguese network to learn more about what we can do to promote the 10 principles in our efforts to advocate for change.

Our director, Lars, is working with educational institutions presenting our findings and recommendations to students in the area of design, sustainability, fashion management and arranges trips for students in Portugal to visit manufacturers. Besides this we regularly have students doing their internship at Win-Win Textiles.

We are active in our local community trying to engage other businesses in creating change and try to challenge brands by proposing alternative solutions.
